New UI Framework

Alanaktion OS 12 is now designed under our newest interface framework, allowing cross-platform theming and smooth animation effects.  It can also be directly integrated in to Windows Vista and Windows 7 to allow Alanaktion OS programs to run in Windows, while keeping the OS 12 functionality.

Beta

We're now hosting a beta release of the OS, which will be continuously updated as we continue development.  Alanaktion OS 12 beta downloads and product information are available at www.alanaktion.net/alanaktion/os12.php.  Please note that at the current time, the beta is very unstable and has relatively no features.

Getting Started

With the recent release of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4, we decided it was a good time to develop a good UI, taking full advantage of the features available in the new framework.
